Last Major Hurdle Cleared For Dynamo Stadium |

Following the disappointing news that USA will not be hosting the 2022 FIFA World Cup, a couple Texian Army members and friends attended the December 2 Harris County Sports Authority meeting where Houston Dynamo President Chris Canetti presented the club's request for a Lease approval for the proposed Dynamo downtown Houston stadium.
After a short break for the Harris County Sports Authority's Board of Director's closed-door executive meeting, the general meeting reconvened, voted, and unanimously approved the Houston Dynamo's lease proposal.
According to a Houston Dynamo representative, following the TIRZ being ratified by the County, groundbreaking on the new stadium is expected by mid January.
